Anke Hachfeld, known professionally as miLù, was born in May 1973 in Germany and
developed an interest in music at the age of sixteen. She later gained
recognition for her four‑octave range and onomatopoeic vocal style in a personal
fantasy language. Her early career unfolded with the band Mila Mar, which
released four albums and three singles on Strange Ways Records between 1998 and
2003. In 2003, miLu collaborated with Christopher von Deylen on Schiller’s album
