Minimal Compact
Minimal Compact is an Israeli post-punk band formed in 1980 in Tel Aviv by Malka
Spigel, Samy Birnbach, and Berry Sakharof. In 1981, they relocated to Amsterdam.
The group's debut self-titled mini-album, Minimal Compact (1981), features the
songs "Statik Dancin'" (1981) and "Creation Is Perfect" (1981). Their second
album, One by One (1982), was recorded in London and marked the addition of
drummer Max Franken. In 1984, they released the album Deadly Weapons (1984),
which featured new member Rami Fortis and the club hit "Next One Is Real"
(1984). Their fourth album, Raging Souls ...
