Minus the Bear
Minus the Bear is wary of labels, and rightly so. The band from Seattle,
Washington, can navigate between US alternative rock, pop rock melodies and
bizarre experiments in experimental rock. If Highly Refined Pirates (2002) and
Menos el Oso (2005) are reserved for a local audience, Planet of Ice in 2007 and
Omni in 2010 allow Minus the Bear to become part of the US alternative rock
landscape. Now it's Minus the Bear's turn to make their mark on the
international scene, and their European festival tour in summer 2010 is sure to
help them do just that.
