Miquel Brown, born Michael Brown on 8 February 1945 in Montreal, Quebec, is a
Canadian actor and disco/soul singer. She began her career as a dancer before
transitioning into acting and music. Her breakthrough moment came when she took
on the part of Sheila in the US touring company of the musical Hair. In 1978,
she released her debut album, Symphony of Love, which included tracks like
"Dancin' with the Lights Down Low" and "This is Something New to Me". In the
early 1980s, she collaborated with Ian Levine and Fiachra Trench, leading to the
release of the hi-NRG album Manpower in...
