The Finnish pop singer-songwriter known mononymously as Mirella was born Mirella
Roininen on 8 May 2005 in Vantaa. Her first major break came in 2020 when she
won the coveted Melodi Grand Prix in her home country, singing "Landet
ingenstans." As the daughter of Finnish musician Tero Roininen, co-founder of
hip-hop collective GG Caravan, she grew up surrounded by music, singing and
dancing for fun before setting her sights on a professional music career. The
