MNL48
MNL48 was a Filipino girl group from Manila. Formed in 2018, the ensemble was
the fourth international sister group of the act AKB48 and the only one to debut
with exactly 48 members. The group was established through nationwide auditions
and a 13-week competition held in early 2018. The ensemble released its debut
single, “Aitakatta – Gustong Makita”, in 2018 followed by the single “Pag-ibig
Fortune Cookie” that same year. Their recording history included the singles
“365 Araw ng Eroplanong Papel” (2019), “Ikaw ang Melody” (2019), “High Tension”
