Mocci
Born on June 23, 1991 in the northern Moroccan town of Larache, Mohamed Aalit
didn't really get into music until 2018. By posting his first track "Mli Nmchi"
(2018) on YouTube, he made his project official under the name Mocci. Influenced
by both rap and Afrobeat aesthetics, it was only a few years later that his fame
really exploded. When "Quoltalek" was released in 2020, the public immediately
grabbed hold of the composition, making it a hit with several million listens.
