Moe Bandy

Moe Bandy, born Marion Franklin Bandy Jr. on February 12, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi, is an American country music singer. In the early 1960s, he formed Moe and the Mavericks and played small venues around San Antonio. In 1974, he released the single "I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today", which entered the US country chart, peaking at number 17. He had several successful singles through the 1970s and early 1980s, including "Bandy the Rodeo Clown" and "Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life". He joined Joe Stampley in the duo Moe and Joe, releasing hits like "Holding the Bag".
