Chris Breheny, known professionally as Moncrieff, is an Irish singer-songwriter
and musician whose emotive sound blends elements of soul, blues, and pop.
Hailing from Tramore, County Waterford, he began his musical journey as a
teenager following the tragic loss of his older brother and sister to cystic
fibrosis. Music became his outlet to process grief and channel his emotions.
Initially pursuing law, Moncrieff shifted his focus to music at 19, relocating
from Berlin to London to study songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary
