Monika Borzym
Monika Borzym, born March 3, 1990 in Warsaw, Poland, is a jazz singer and
composer. She began her education with classical piano lessons and studied jazz
improvisation during an exchange program at John Hersey High School. After
returning to Poland, she continued her education at the Frederic Chopin Public
Secondary School of Music in Warsaw and received a scholarship to study jazz
vocals at the University of Miami. Her debut album Girl Talk (2011) was released
by Sony, featuring reinterpretations of songs by artists like Joni Mitchell and
