Montez (born April 7, 1994, in Bielefeld) is a German-Spanish singer and rapper.
Born Luca Manuel Montesinos Gargallo, Montez began writing his first rap lyrics
and songs as a teenager. In 2010, Montez released the mixtape Punchlines eines
Melancholikers. This immediately drew attention in the hip-hop scene, and he
received the award in the Newcomer of the Year category from the scene platforms
Hiphop.de and Juice. Shortly thereafter, Montez signed with Essah Entertainment,
