Motoharu Sano is a Japanese singer-songwriter and radio DJ. He was born on March
13, 1956, in Taitō, Tokyo. As a singer and guitarist, Motoharu Sano specializes
in the rock and roll genre, usually singing in Japanese but occasionally also in
English. He made his debut in 1980, with the single “Angelina” followed by the
album Back to the Street. In 1982, he released the much-lauded album Someday.
His following album, 1983’s No Damage, reached Number 1 on the Japanese album
charts. He continued recording albums throughout the 1980s, and his 1986 album
