Mr. Big
Mr. Big was a British pop-rock band formed in London in 1972 by Jeff Pain,
better known as Dicken. Originally performing as Burnt Oak, the group adopted
the name Mr. Big after a booking at the Marquee Club. The band achieved their
biggest success with the 1977 single “Romeo,” which reached number 4 on the UK
Singles Chart. They released albums including Sweet Silence (1975), Photographic
Smile (1977), and Mr. Big (1977), and toured extensively in the UK, Europe, and
