Mr. Marcelo
Mr. Marcelo, born Jisaidie Hicks in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 13, 1976,
is an American rapper. Raised in the Magnolia Projects, Hicks took his stage
name from New Orleans mobster Carlos Marcello and is the elder brother of the
rapper Curren$y. He achieved local success in 1992 with the dance song “Hey
P-Popper”. In 2000, Hicks was featured on the 504 Boyz single “Whodi” and signed
with No Limit Records. He released his debut studio album, Brick Livin', through
