Mukala
Mukala was an American Christian rock band from Nashville, Tennessee established
in 1997. The ensemble consisted of vocalist, songwriter, and keyboardist Dan
Muckala, guitarist Alex Nifong, and drummer Jason Collum. Dan Muckala was a
musical composition student at Belmont University and became a professional
songwriter in 1996, penning several top 10 songs on contemporary hit radio. The
band signed with label Essential Records in early 1998 and released their debut
