Münchner Motettenchor, a concert choir based in Munich, Germany, was founded in
1960 by Hans Rudolf Zöbeley. The ensemble initially consisted of around 90
singers and focused on performing lesser-known composers alongside classical
masters. Under Zöbeley's leadership until 1997, the choir gained prominence for
its performances of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, which they performed over 40
