A progressive metal band with an international reputation, Myrath were initially
formed in 2001 by Tunisian guitarist Malek Ben Arbia and lead singer Tarek
Idouani under the X-Tazy moniker. They welcomed keyboardist and singer Elyes
Bouchoucha in 2003 and two years later, the Double Face EP was confidentially
distributed in Tunisia, attracting the attention of French label Bremmis Music.
The band, now renamed Myrath, worked with producer Kevin Codfert to record their
debut album Hope (2007), before recruiting Zaher Zorgati as their new vocalist,
