Nancy Cartwright
Nancy Jean Cartwright, born October 25, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, is an American
actress and voice actress who grew up in Kettering before moving to Los Angeles
in 1978 to pursue voice work. Her breakthrough came in 1980 when she voiced
Gloria on the animated series Richie Rich, a role that led to further work in
television and film. Her voice work as Bart Simpson began in The Tracey Ullman
Show shorts in 1987 and became central to The Simpsons. In 2000, she published
her autobiography My Life as a 10-Year-Old Boy, which she later adapted into a
