Fernando Orlando Brown Mosley, known professionally as Nando Boom, is a
Panamanian musician who is known to be one of the forerunners of reggae en
español. He recorded his first cassette single "Mi Mujer Habla Así" around 1984,
later refining it in 1987 with influences from Alton Irie and Super Cat. His
breakthrough came in 1988 with the album El Explosivo, featuring the hit "Reggae
Rock" and a concert at the Gimnasio Nuevo Panamá. Subsequent releases included
