Nate Morgan

Nate Morgan was an American jazz pianist and composer born on February 9, 1953. He received musical training from Joe Sample and Hampton Hawes and joined the cooperative Union of God's Musicians and Artists Ascension while in high school. Morgan worked in the Los Angeles jazz community and collaborated with the musician Horace Tapscott. During the 1970s, he performed on recordings for the ensemble Rufus and the singer Renée Geyer.
