Nathalie Joachim, born in Brooklyn, New York, is an American vocalist, flautist,
and composer. She began piano at four, switched to flute at nine, and entered
The Juilliard School’s music advancement program at ten, later graduating from
its college division and studying audio production at The New School. She
co‑founded the urban‑pop flute duo Flutronix in 2008, releasing a debut album in
2010 and touring extensively. In 2015, she joined the Chicago‑based chamber
