nerdina (배수열, Bryan Bae), born in 1999 in Seoul, first appeared to the public as
Bae Soo-yeol of Sangmun High School’s crew Black Rock on High School Rapper, and
returned six years later not as a contestant but as an independent artist with
his own musical identity. Inspired by an awkward first club experience, he
created the name “nerdina,” short for “nerd in a club,” reflecting the honest
