Nick Heyward is a pop-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the
lead vocalist and songwriter for the new wave pop band Haircut One Hundred. Born
on 20 May 1961 in Beckenham, Kent, he began his musical journey in the late
1970s, forming several bands with friends before settling on Haircut One
Hundred. The band achieved significant success in the early 1980s with hits like
"Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)" and their debut album, Pelican West, which
reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified platinum. In January
