Ivor Neville Kamen – born April 15, 1962 in Harlow, Essex, England – is better
known as singer and model Nick Kamen. He became one of the most popular ‘faces’
of the 1980s when he appeared in a 1985 British television advert for Levi’s 501
jeans. He was able to use his modeling fame as a springboard to pop stardom.
