Nils Berg (born October 9, 1977, in Göteborg, Sweden) is a Swedish jazz
saxophonist, bass clarinetist, and composer who studied at the Royal Swedish
Academy of Music. During his studies, Berg played with Oskar Schönning, Peter
Bjorn and John, and Loney Dear. In 2000, he won the national Jazzverk
competition for big-band composers. Beginning in 2004, he composed for the
quartet The Stoner, which released five albums until 2014, including Upp Till
