NING BAIZURA
Malaysian pop highflyer Ning Baizura was born Ning Baizura binti Sheikh Hamzah
on June 28, 1975 in Kajang, Malaysia and began her recording career in the early
1990s. After winning the Voice of Asia in 1991, the following year she made her
major-label debut for Sony Music with her album Dekat Padamu. Ning Baizura – who
is of Malay, English, Japanese, Italian, French, Mandarin and Cantonese descent
