Anita Mwarabu, known by her stage name Ninita, is a Congolese singer-songwriter
and actress, born on October 30, 1987 in Lubumbashi. The fifth of six siblings,
she grew up in a musical household, listening to Etta James, Aretha Franklin,
Whitney Houston and Papa Wemba. By the age of 12, she was singing in her church
choir and learning vocal harmonization. At the same time, she took part in dance
competitions at school. In 2015, she made a name for herself by reaching the
