Nisse Ingwersen, known professionally as Nisse, is a German singer-songwriter.
Ingwersen began his musical journey in Hamburg’s Harburg district, where a year
of schooling in the United Kingdom sparked an interest in rap. After returning
to Hamburg at age 17, Ingwersen formed a short-lived hip-hop group before
turning to solo songwriting and production, completing an Abitur and training as
a media clerk. Four Music signed Ingwersen, and the debut album August was
