Oskari Olavi Virta, known professionally as Olavi Virta, was born on February
27, 1915, in Sysmä, Finland, and was a Finnish singer, composer-lyricist, and
film actor. He began his musical journey by learning the violin during his
youth. His career took off with his involvement in various music genres,
including Finnish pop and tango music. In the early 1950s, he was a member of
the Kipparikvartetti quartet. Throughout his career, he released numerous albums
