Ömür Göksel, born May 2, 1942, in Kadıköy, is a Turkish jazz and pop singer. At
18, he won a prestigious singing competition titled The Voice King of Turkey. In
1965, Göksel began his professional career performing in nightclubs. His
breakthrough came with the release of "Mutluluk" (1969), which earned him his
first gold record. He achieved further success with hits like "Sevemem Artık"
(1972) and "Yanıyorum" (1975), both receiving gold records and multiple Singer
