Orozco Barrientos, a folk music duo consisting of Raúl "Tilín" Orozco and
Fernando Barrientos, originated in Mendoza, Argentina, in 2003. They gained
international recognition at the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile, winning the
"Gaviota de plata" award for their song "Pintadita". Their debut album, Celador
de sueños, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla and released in 2004, blended
traditional Cuyan rhythms with rock influences. The album was nominated for the
