When you're a "son of...", it's not easy to evolve musically without being
immediately criticized for your prestigious ancestry and the little help it has
given you. Nor is it easy to exist artistically on one's own without comparisons
being drawn with the prestigious progenitor... Known by the strange nickname of
Ours, it was under a pseudonym that evoked anything but his family origins, like
Arthur H or -M-, that Alain Souchon's son made his first songs. Charles Kienast
arrived on the French music scene in 2007 with the album Mi, following in his
father's footsteps.
