Outsidaz
Outsidaz was an American hip-hop collective from Newark New Jersey. The group
formed in 1991 after rapper Dewayne Battle met Brian Bostic and Jerome Hinds at
a New Year’s Eve party. Battle and Hinds were rival MCs who decided to unite
after a microphone battle ended in a tie. Other members included Tyree Smith,
Denton Dawes, and Rashia Fisher. The collective released the studio album Night
Life (2000) which reached number 67 on the US Hip-Hop charts and The Bricks
