Panam
Pan Am was a New Zealand alternative rock band from Auckland established in
2000. The ensemble was founded by Paul Barrett and Cole Goodley, who were
friends from their education at Avondale College. Their recording career began
with the debut extended play New Concepts in Sound Recording (2002), which was
released through the labels Flying Nun Records and Festival Mushroom Records NZ.
The work reached professional recognition after reaching the top 40 on the New
Zealand singles chart and being nominated for Best Pop/Rock Release at the 2002
