Electronic indie rock band Pariisin Kevät was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2006 by Arto Tuunela (formerly a member of the band Major Label). Initially a solo project, Pariisin Kevät released their debut album, Meteoritti, in 2008. The album was a success, reaching Number 12 on the Finnish Albums chart. Two years later, their sophomore album Astronautti also reached the Number 12 position on the albums chart while the single “Tämän kylän poikii” reached Number 4.
