Parviz Yahaghi, born on September 23, 1935, in Tehran, Iran, was an Iranian
violinist and composer. He began his musical education under his uncle Hossein
Yahaghi, adopting the Yahaghi name professionally. Yahaghi's career started when
he joined the Iranian government-financed radio station at around age 20,
composing for celebrated singers like Banan, Marzieh, Delkash, and Mahasti. His
compositions were often featured on the long-running radio program Golha. Before
