Paul Parker, born on July 2, 1952, in San Francisco, California, is an American
Hi-NRG and dance singer. His career began in the early 1980s with the release of
his first single, "Welcome To Freedom / Nowhere To Fall" (1981). Parker's
greatest success came in the 1980s, when he reached Number 1 on the Hot Dance
Music/Club Play chart twice. First was the single "Right on Target", from his
