Paul Severs
Paul Severs, born on June 26, 1948, in Uccle, Belgium, was a Flemish singer and
songwriter. At seventeen, he became the lead singer of The Criminals, releasing
their first single "Geen wonder dat ik ween" in 1967. Severs' breakthrough came
with "Ik ben verliefd op jou" in 1970, which topped the charts and sold over
120,000 copies. In the 1990s, he enjoyed renewed success with hits such as "Zeg
'ns meisje / Toutes les filles" (1991), which topped the charts in Wallonia, and
