Pavlína Filipovská is a Czech singer and actress who was born in Prague,
Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, in 1941. She achieved early professional
momentum as a television presenter and joined the cabaret Semafor in 1959.
Filipovská is famous for her hit song “Včera neděle byla” (1960), which sold
nearly 250,000 copies in its first year. Her discography includes the singles
“Barvy – Laky” (1960), “Betty” (1960), and “Proč se lidi nemaj rádi” (1962),
alongside the duet “Nej, nej, nej...” (1960) with Josef Zíma. She performed at
the Apollo Theater (1964) and the Rokoko Theater ...
