Born in Narbonne on June 8, 1938, Pierre Alfred Genard, aka Pedro Soler, is one
of the masters of contemporary flamenco guitar. In the course of a long career
that began in the 1950s, this French guitarist, influenced by the style of Ramon
Montoya and the poetry of Garcia Lorca, has crossed paths with many musicians:
Jacinto Almadèn, Pericon de Cadiz, Enrique Morentes, Rafael Romero, Atahualpa
