Peka Tala Hermann was born in 1994 in Nlonako (now Ébonè), a commune in western
Cameroon. Influenced by his father, a pastor, the young Cameroonian was brought
into contact with music through religion and gospel singing. Arriving in Douala
at the age of 14, he joined The Living Stones, where his musical practice took a
turning point. He won the Musical Revelation of the Year awards at the 2014
Gospel Music Awards, then the Creativ Talent competition in 2016, and entered
