Per Henrik Wallin
Per Henrik Wallin, born July 17, 1946 in Karlsborg, Sweden, was a Swedish jazz
pianist, big band leader, and composer. He began recording in 1975 with his
trio, releasing their debut album The New Figaro (1975) on the Dragon label. He
formed a new trio in 1978 with bassist Torbjörn Hultcrantz and drummer Erik
Dahlbäck, touring Europe and recording albums including Blues Work (1982) and
Fourth Balcony Jump (1984). In 1988, he suffered a severe car accident that left
him paralyzed from the waist down, but he returned to the piano in 1995 and
