Perri is an American R&B vocal ensemble from Bakersfield established in 1981.
The group consists of the musicians Carol Perry, Darlene Perry, Lori Perry, and
Sharon Perry. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style
characterized by R&B, soul, and gospel. Their recording career began after
sending a demo to the musician Pat Metheny and touring with him between 1983 and
1985. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the debut studio
recording Celebrate (1986) which reached number 48 on the Top Jazz Albums chart.
