Petr Kolář was born on June 20, 1967, in České Budějovice, Czechoslovakia. Kolář
is a singer who was a member of the band Precedens in the late 1990s. The first
solo album, Mackie Messer, appeared in 1999. Kolář was a member of the rock band
Arakain from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, Kolář received the Anděl Award for Best Male
Singer. Collaborations include work with musicians Michael Kocáb, Michal David,
and Daniel Landa. Discography releases include the albums Akusticky v Karlíně
(2009), Čas nás naučí (2011), and Na Žofíně (2014). Kolář also performed in
numerous musicals.
