Piotr Stanisław Szczepanik, also known as Piotr Szczepanik, born on February 14,
1942, in Lublin, Poland, was a singer and actor. He gained popularity with songs
such as "Żółte Kalendarze", "Kochać", "Goniąc kormorany", and "Nigdy więcej".
His album Śpiewa was released in 1966. Szczepanik's involvement with the
Solidarity movement from 1980 to 1989 marked a significant period in his life,
reflecting his engagement beyond music. In 2008, he received the Officer's Cross
of the Order of Polonia Restituta for his contributions. He passed away on
August 20, 2020.
