Sam Hansen, known professionally as PNC, is a New Zealand rapper and songwriter
from Palmerston North. He first gained attention performing with
Breaking Wreckwordz and releasing the single "Day in the Life", which topped the
BFM charts for three weeks. In 2006, he signed with P‑Money’s Dirty Records and
released his debut album, Rookie Card. Subsequent releases included Bazooka Kid
(2009), Man on Wire (2011), and the mixtape Under the Influence (2012). He
