Polarkreis 18 is a German pop group that was founded in Dresden in 1998 as a
school band under the name Jack of All Trades. In 2004, the band changed its
name to Polarkreis 18. Their musical style can be described as a mixture of pop,
synth-pop, post-rock and indietronic. The band consists of Felix Räuber (vocals,
guitar, piano), Philipp Makolies (guitar, piano), Christian Grochau (drums), Uwe
Pasora (bass) and Ludwig Bauer (piano, guitar, trumpet). Former member is
