Pooka
Pooka was a British songwriting duo formed by guitarists/vocalists Sharon Lewis
and Natasha Jones in 1992 at Nottingham Polytechnic. After moving to London,
they secured a five-album recording contract with WEA and released their
self-titled debut album in 1993. They subsequently toured with artists including
Everything But the Girl, Tindersticks, Kristin Hersh, Al Stewart, and the
Levellers. They released Spinning in 1997 and the EP Monday Mourning in 1999.
