Real name Darryl Gibson, American rapper Positive K was born in New York's Bronx district on August 9, 1967. Witnessing the birth of hip-hop at parties organized by DJs Grandmaster Flash and Busy Bee, he formed the group Disco Cousins under the name Baby Breeze, then joined Five-Percent Nation and Almighty God Committee, before pursuing a solo career as Positive K.
