Power Play
Powerplay are a Dutch rock ensemble from the Netherlands formed in 1980. The
group was established by Jan van der Meij, Leon Klaasse, and Peter van Straten.
They achieved professional recognition in 1981 while performing as the opening
act for Golden Earring. Their recording career began with the debut studio
recording Avanti (1982), which reached number 13 on the Dutch album charts and
remained on the chart for eight weeks. Their discography includes the tracks
